Dr. Sunil Udgire is a highly experienced Pediatric Hematologist based in Bangalore, India. With over 10 years of expertise in the field, he has completed his post-graduation in Pediatrics from B.J. Medical College, Pune, and Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur. Additionally, he has also obtained a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology & Pediatric Oncology from B.J. Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai.
Dr. Udgire has an impressive track record, having been involved in more than 1300 bone marrow transplants, with over 500 of them personally undertaken by him. His areas of specialization include the treatment of various pediatric blood disorders such as Thalassemia, Sickle cell anemia, and Hemophilia. He is also well-versed in managing pediatric hemato-lymphoid malignancies like leukemia and lymphomas, as well as pediatric solid tumors including Wilm’s tumor, Neuroblastoma, Rhabdomyosarcoma, Hepatoblastoma, PNET, and Osteosarcoma.
