Dr. Kamal Buckshee is a highly esteemed Gynaecologist and Obstetrician based in New Delhi, India. With an impressive 50 years of experience, she is recognized as an expert in her field.
Dr. Buckshee has made significant contributions to the medical community, being the first Indian Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to develop and standardize various techniques such as the Utero Foetal Skin Biopsy technique, cordocentesis for fetal diagnosis, in utero blood transfusion, and uterine balloon therapy for patients with Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding. She completed her MBBS in 1961 and went on to pursue MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 1965 from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi.
Dr. Buckshee has an extensive publication record, with over 250 publications in both National and International Journals. Her areas of special interest include Vaginoplasty, Laparoscopic Sterilization, Laparoscopic Surgery (Obs & Gyn), High-Risk Pregnancy Care, Pre and Post Delivery Care, and Cervical Cerclage. Currently, she serves as a Senior Consultant at Fortis La Femme in New Delhi.
