Brief About Dr. S. Jayalakshmi
Dr. S. Jayalakshmi is a highly experienced radiation oncologist with a career spanning 20 years. She has successfully treated numerous patients with various types of cancer in India, providing them with the best possible medical care. Dr. Jayalakshmi is a member of both the Delhi Medical Association (DMA) and the Indian Medical Association (IMA). She has also contributed to the field through her published works, including “Primary Intra-cranial adenoid cystic carcinoma – a case report” in 2000, “Malignant melanoma presenting as bilateral breast masses” in 1997, and “S Syndrome – a case report for review” in 1995.
Dr. Jayalakshmi obtained her MBBS degree from Stanley Medical College and Hospital, Chennai in 1986, followed by an MD in Radiotherapy from Christian Medical College, Vellore in 1992, and a DNB in Radiotherapy from Diplomate of National Board, New Delhi in 1996. Her areas of special interest include Brachytherapy (Internal Radiation Therapy), Genitourinary Malignancies, Stereotactic Body Radio Therapy (SBRT), Cranial Cyber-Knife Radiosurgery, Image Guided Radio Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Radio Therapy (SRT), and Intensity Modulated Radio Therapy (IMRT).
