Brief About Dr. Amish Chaudhury
Dr. Amish Chaudhary, a Surgical Oncologist based in Faridabad, India, boasts an impressive 14 years of experience in the field. He has been a key figure in pioneering advanced laparoscopic and minimal access programs in oncology at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC) in New Delhi. Dr. Chaudhary has conducted over 1500 surgical and Gynae-oncological procedures at the Max Institute of Cancer Care, New Delhi, with a focus on advanced Robotic, Laparoscopic, Cytoreductive, and HIPEC surgeries. His expertise includes more than 700 breast surgeries, 300 SLNB, 300 oncoplastic breast surgeries, and over 150 colorectal surgeries.
Dr. Chaudhary is recognized for developing and leading the advanced Robotic and Laparoscopic Gynae-oncological and surgical oncology program. His innovative “Retroperitoneal Tent Technique” for laparoscopic paraaortic lymph node dissection has gained widespread acclaim in India. He was instrumental in launching the HIPEC program in Delhi for surface malignancies like ovarian cancer and psuedomyxoma peritonei, having successfully completed over 50 HIPEC procedures since 2015. During his tenure at RGCIRC, New Delhi, Dr. Chaudhary contributed to nearly 450 breast cancer surgeries and oncoplasties, as well as 250 oesophagectomies. He played a pivotal role in introducing the Sentinel lymph node program for breast cancer, now a standard of care in leading medical centers. Dr. Chaudhary has authored 7 publications and research works.
