Brief About Dr. Rajiv Kovil
Dr. Rajiv Kovil is a highly experienced Endocrinologist based in Mumbai, India, boasting over two decades of expertise in the field. He is a distinguished member of various medical organizations, including being the Founding Member of the United Diabetes Forum, Joint Secretary of the National Society for Prevention of Heart Disease & Rehabilitation (NSPHERE), and a Member of the National Editorial Board for the Heart Care Journal in 2004.
Dr. Kovil completed his MBBS at T N Medical College (Nair Hospital) in Mumbai in 1996, followed by a Post-Graduate Two Year Diploma in Diabetology from S L Raheja Hospital in 1999, where he excelled as a Gold Medallist in Diabetology. His areas of expertise include preventive diabetology, clinical research, and the management of adolescent diabetes.
Dr. Kovil is a renowned speaker at both national and international medical events, recognized as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in the field of Diabetes. He has authored 10 original articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, both at the national and international level.
Dr. Kovil’s dedication to his profession has been acknowledged through various accolades, such as being the Honorary Chief Guest for the National Wellness Nutraceutical Awards and receiving the prestigious Diabetes India Fellowship in 2017.
