Dr. Gulshan Kumar Ahuja, a distinguished Neurologist based in New Delhi, India, boasts an extensive 57-year career in the field. His expertise in Neurology is widely recognized both nationally and internationally, having served as a Visiting Professor in the USA and Libya, as well as in other esteemed institutions within India.
Dr. Ahuja’s areas of focus include Brain mapping, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, and Electroconvulsive Therapy. He has been honored with the prestigious “Lifetime Achievement Award” for Neurology by the Delhi Neurological Association. Dr. Ahuja is a member of various esteemed organizations such as the National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), and is one of the founding members of the Indian Academy of Neurology, where he also held the position of President.
Additionally, he has served as an Expert member on the Selection Committee of several reputable institutions. Dr. Ahuja’s significant contributions to Neurosciences through experiments and case studies globally, particularly in rare Neuro-associated disorders, have been widely acknowledged and published in journals worldwide.
Dr. Ahuja holds an MBBS from Amritsar Medical College (1961), MRCP (London, 1968), FRCP (Edinburgh) in Neurology, and is a Fellow member of the Indian Academy of Neurology (FIAN, 1996) and National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS). His special interests lie in Micro Neurosurgery, Acute Head Injury, Neuro-Endoscopic Surgery, Endovascular Coiling, Electroconvulsive Therapy, and Brain Mapping.
