Brief About Dr. Mehul Bhansali
Dr. Mehul Bhansali, a Surgical Oncologist based in Mumbai, India, serves as the Head of Department at Jaslok Hospital. With over 27 years of experience, Dr. Bhansali specializes in oncology surgery, head and neck surgery, gastrointestinal, gynaec, and breast malignancies. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Mumbai, Mumbai, followed by an MS in general surgery from the same university and a DNB in general surgery from Diplomate of National Board, New Delhi.
Dr. Bhansali furthered his expertise with fellowships in surgery for Esophageal cancer at Kurume University School of Medicine and in Esophageal and gastrointestinal surgery at Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. He has numerous publications in national and international journals and has received prestigious awards such as the “SR Joglekar Gold Medal” for the best scientific article in 1993 and the “C V Menon Gold Medal” for the best scientific article in 1994.
