Dr. Satyendra Katewa, Delhi’s top oncologist, received his medical degree from S P Medical College in Bikaner, Rajasthan. He completed his Diploma in Child Health (DCH) at the Sardar Patel Medical College in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Following this He Completed his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Pediatrics- From Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and He has done his Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant (Indian Academy of Pediatrics)- From Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH), New Delhi – 2009, Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant from University of Toronto, The Hospital for Sick Children “SickKids”, Toronto, Canada in July – 2011. and Observership in Primary Immunodeficiency and Bone Marrow Transplants at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA – 2013.
Furthermore, he is Rajasthan’s only Pediatric Hemato-Oncologist and BMT Physician with over 14 years of experience, as well as one of India’s few experienced BMT physicians. Dr. Satyendra Katewa is a pioneer BMT physician in India who has worked tirelessly to develop newer and more advanced methods of pediatric BMT such as Haploidentical and Matched Unrelated BMT.
