Brief About Dr. Hitendra Patil
Dr. Hitendra Patil, a Surgical Oncologist based in Mumbai, India, has over 15 years of experience in the field. He is a distinguished member of various medical associations including the Association of Surgeons of India, the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India, the Indian Medical Association, and the National Academy of Medical Sciences, Surgical Oncology. Dr. Patil completed his MBBS from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 2002. He pursued his DNB in general surgery in 2009 and obtained another DNB qualification in surgical oncology from Prince Aly Khan Hospital, Mumbai in 2012.
Dr. Patil furthered his expertise by completing fellowships in MIS between 2013-15. Known for his proficiency in conducting surgeries such as prosatectomy, breast cancer, head and neck cancer, and lung cancer surgeries, he also provides services like breast cancer screening, oral cancer treatment, laparoscopy for pelvic/gynecological and urological system cancers, GI tract procedures, hormone therapy for prostate and breast cancer, as well as endometrial biopsy, targeted therapy, and precision medicine.
