Assoc. Dr. Serhat Mutlu is a highly experienced Orthopedic and Traumatology Specialist based in Istanbul, Turkey. He obtained his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and went on to complete his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same institution. Assoc. Dr. Serhat Mutlu has also gained valuable experience in the field of Gene and Cancer research during his time at the Walther Cancer Institute in the United States. In 2004, he completed a fellowship program focused on child and adult hip disorders under the guidance of Prof. Reinhard Graf. Assoc. Dr. Serhat Mutlu’s dedication and expertise led him to earn the title of ‘Specialist’ in 2006 for his work on “Ganz Osteotomy in Young Adult Patients” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Remzi Tözün. He has performed over 1,000 surgeries during his tenure as an Orthopedist and Traumatologist at Erzincan State Hospital in 2006. Assoc. Dr. Serhat Mutlu has also worked at Istanbul Bakırköy Acıbadem Hospital and Medipol Hospitals, further enhancing his skills and knowledge. In recognition of his contributions to the field, he was awarded the title of ‘Assoc. Prof’ in 2016 for his academic work at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Education and Research Hospital and Istanbul Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Education and Research Hospital. Assoc. Dr. Serhat Mutlu has an impressive portfolio of over 50 publications, articles, and journals at both national and international levels. He specializes in the management and treatment of sports injuries, knee and hip calcifications, and is particularly skilled in prosthetic surgery.
