Brief About Dr. Rekha Mittal
Dr. Rekha Mittal is a highly respected Pediatric Neurologist and General Pediatrician based in New Delhi, India. With over 31 years of experience, she has established herself as an expert in the field. Dr. Mittal specializes in various areas, including Epilepsy, EEG and Video EEG, Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disability, developmental disorders, and Cerebral Palsy.
She holds the distinction of being the first Pediatric Neurologist of the Armed Forces and played a pivotal role in setting up Pediatric Neurology Services at Army Hospital (Research and Referral) Delhi Cantt. Dr. Mittal actively collaborates with prestigious organizations such as the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, the Indian Epilepsy Society, the Association of Child Neurology (where she is also a Founder member), and the International Child Neurology Association.
Dr. Mittal’s expertise is recognized globally, and she has been invited as a Guest Speaker at numerous Conferences, Workshops, and CMEs at both national and international levels. Her contributions to the field are evident through her extensive publications in National and International Journals. She has also served as the secretary of the Association of Child Neurology and acted as an external examiner for the MD exam at the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni, Maharashtra in 2009.
