Dr. Shashidhar Pal is an eminent Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist who has considerable experience with sophisticated arrhythmia ablation using 3D mapping systems. He is also known for implanting the first home monitoring gadget, the Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Device (CRTD), in South India. Dr. Shashidhar previously worked at Narayana Hrudayalaya and the Manipal Heart Institute in Bangalore.
He contributed to implementing the first home monitoring device, the CRDT, in South India. Dr. Shashidhar earned his MBBS in 1990 from JSS Medical College and his MD in General Medicine in 1995. In addition, he completed a DM in Cardiology from the LPS Institute of Cardiology in Kanpur in 2001.
He also obtained a Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Shashidhar is a member of the Indian Medical Association and the Indian Cardiological Society. Since 1990, he has been a member of the Karnataka Medical Council.
