Dr. Venkataswami R is a well-known plastic surgeon in India with over 40 years of experience. He is the first Indian Plastic Surgeon to get the innovation of the Hand Surgery Award by the International Federation of Hand Societies.
He is also the first Indian to be invited as Mc Indoe Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, London in 1998. He has done MBBS, MS (General Surgery) FAMS, MCh (Plastic Surgery), FRCS (Edin,) DSc (Hon).
