The establishment of Sancheti Institute for Orthopedic and Rehabilitation dates back to 1965, while Sancheti Hospital for Specialized Surgery was founded in 2008. Annually, the hospital conducts a significant number of surgeries, including 2500 spine surgeries, 2700 trauma surgeries, 2200 knee surgeries, 700 hand surgeries, 1800 pediatrics surgeries, 300 shoulder surgeries, 900 hip surgeries, and 700 other surgeries.
Notably, the hospital has served as a medical partner for various prestigious events such as the Commonwealth Youth Games 2008, Commonwealth Games 2010 held in New Delhi, and the World Series Hockey held in 2012 at Pune.
Recognized as one of the top three Orthopedic Hospitals in India by The Week Magazine, Sancheti Hospital also actively organizes free medical camps on a regular basis to extend its support to the underprivileged.
