Dr. Priyadarshi Ranjan is a Mohali-based Urologist and Renal Transplant Surgeon with over 18 years of expertise. His areas of expertise include Kidney Transplant (both live and cadaver), Multiorgan Retrieval Transplant from a cadaver, Dialysis access procedures (AV fistulas/PTFE vascular grafts for hemodialysis), Vascular surgery (including Shunt surgery for portal hypertension), Kidney transplant in the abnormal bladder (ileal conduit/augmentation cystoplasty), Transplant immunosuppression and so on.
Dr. Ranjan has performed over 850 procedures, including Kidney Cancer, Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomies and Kidney Transplants. During his postgraduate studies, he was also awarded a gold medal for his performance in the MS Surgery Examination. Dr. Ranjan was also the recipient of a GM Phadke scholarship from the Urological Society of India.
Furthermore, he has national and international publications to his name, and he is frequently invited to lecture about kidney transplants at scientific meetings, continuing medical education (CMEs), and international conferences.
He earned his MBBS at the prestigious King Georges Medical College, Lucknow University, and his MCh in Urology at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh.
